I am wondering what people unlocked through the event.

This is my list:

4 sup runes Ritualist (so minor-major-sup)
1 sup rune Assassin (dagger)
5 elites Assassin (random picked; just the first 5 of the class)
1 skill Assassin (random picked, just the first one)

Spend around 38k faction, so I made around 28k over the event...

I went for runes because my luck to unlock them through normal play is terrible. That, and I expect Factions to have some skillquests, so I didn't want to go 'normal' skills.
The elites also take some time to get in PvE, so after I got the runes I wanted, I went to unlock elites I don't think I'll go directly for in Chapter 2. (probably will make a Rit/Ass. I'm just not much of a melee type of player.)

What did you get?

all the minor ritualist runes and every non-elite ritualist skill

All the minors for Rt and As, about half the majors, few elites and a couple regular skills. I also unlocked my pent up frustration at how annoyingly slow arena battles are with a Rt/Mo and a Mo/* on each side. Half hour? Often. If I didn't hate dropping from an active team, I'd have quit frequently.

Thats what I unlocked, a lot of runes because why bother wasting faction on skills that your very likely to get in a quest reward in Ch2. As for elites I will be using a PVE a/rt or rt/a to capture them.

I'm not unlocking anything until I finish 100% PvE with all character classes, so nothing here.

I just unlocked a few skill - no runes - just to play with. I don't really care about wasting 15k faction.

I justed wanted to see something new. I'm sure I've been on every map in the game, PvE or PvP, atleast 5 times. Just want to see something new :/

i don't have a pvp only char now and i probably won't make one for chap 2 unless we end up w/ 3+ new slots, so didn't really bother unlocking anything =)

26 assassin skills and an elite skill i had fun. already had sup rune unlocked. so no need to bother with min/maj rune

Hi,

I was able to play about 8-hours over the weekend about 5 in PVE (in the new UW area) and 3 in PVP.

I first created a Rt character but didn't have any luck with him so I switched to an Assassin secondary and started having some fun.

I unlocked only 2-normal skills and 1-elite skill (all Dagger Mastery) for the assassin with a couple thousand faction saved up for another elite, which I didn't spend...so I must have made only about 6k faction. Not a lot but I did have fun with the new assassin. Thanks ANET!

I played primarily Rt/Me & a Rt/Mo(healer/prot) pre-fabs changing skills as I progressed along with unlocking. Didn't need to unlock the pre-fab skills of course.

Maybe i missed this but, if I unlocked something for one of the new classes will it still be unlocked when I buy Factions?

yes, that is my understanding. they will remain unlocked and be available for your pvp characters once you buy Factions.

I unlocked most of the Assassin's Dagger Mastery skills, a couple of Critical Strike skills, and one elite, Temple Strike. I didn't unlock any runes for the new classes, nor did I unlock any Ritualist skills.

The new classes look promising in their own ways for PvP. It'll be interesting to see what kind of PvE we'll see in Factions and what kind of builds will work there.

I unlocked all the superior runes, then I unlocked every non-elite ritualist skill in the wrong stat, kills me to even think of how stupid I was not to double check. Grabbed the right stat skills that I wanted most and stopped there.

Then I grabbed a vampric weapon unlock for the assassin and ran out of faction.

I wish you could pre-unlock skills and such. 10k is just one or two good nights pvp so I'll be back to max and sitting around within a week.

I gained alot of runes and skills.
Loved this event, gained more then 15000 faction I think. Spent it all on must-needed skills and runes

How can you unlock vampiric weapon for assassin? I didn't notice any option of unlocking dagger upgrades.

Back to topic, I unlocked 3 minor runes of assasin (except deathly art), minor runes of restoration and spawning power, several critical line skills, dagger line skills, a couple of elites of Ritualist, and many communing and restoration regular skills. I spent about 30k faction, 70 faction left. I'm pretty happy about that, because I had UAX and 10k faction cap for a long time. I only had 2 nights and an afternoon to play, wish I could've played more and got more unlocks.
